SSCS jpg

Giacomo “Josh” Giorgi is a full time activist with Sea Shepherd who are in Australia about to launch their newest anti-whaling campaign within 24 hours of this interview being posted (on the 15th of December, 2013). This campaign, titled “Operation: Relentless” has the potential to be the most heated campaign yet in terms of direct action activism coming up against Japanese whalers who are dead set on killing whales. Josh talked to me about his inspirations, motivations and dedication as an activist and his outlook on the work that Sea Shepherd does.

ROBERT of Refuse Records in Warsaw Poland
(on the rise of neo-nazi activity in Poland and throughout Europe)

In this interview (approximately 50 minutes), Robert from Refuse Records in Warsaw Poland speaks with us about the violence this week at an activist collective housing project (the Przychodnia Skłot) in Warsaw when neo-nazis attacked the building with molotov cocktails. He explores the background of the rise of neo-fascism in Poland and then describes the current state of anti-fascist protests and right wing violence across Europe. Then we connect it with trends of economic despair and fear in the United States as well.
